A loving kindness meditation is where you picture a person you love and fill up your heart with all the feeling you wish you could send to them.
You then imagine being able to send them all the love, kindness, happiness, health and prosperity in the world.
As we do this we have to fill ourselves up with these feelings, which brings a part of each of these emotions to us.
We then use the same levels of this emotion to someone who we feel neutral about and then someone who we struggle to like.
For this particular meditation we finish by sending all of that love inwards to ourselves!
